Optical Fiber Length Measurement

We can test the length your reel of fiber, and accurately measure the length using time-of-flight (non-OTDR)

  • High Accuracy
  • Length up to eg 200 Km
  • Single mode or multimode fiber
  • Requires actual refractive index of the spool of fiber to be known, which is likely to be a limiting accuracy factor, otherwise theoretical test uncertainty is approximately = 3 meters + 0.02% of fiber length
